beam of light shot from her wand toward Demeter and Perseus. The two grasped each other’s paws and were ready to protect their parents when all of a sudden the amulet lit up and Demeter and Perseus were sealed inside a magic mirror with the amulet put on the back as an embroidery pattern, and the jewel was at the center. Phil grabbed the mirror and tossed it out into the kingdom hoping someone would find it and free them. Vandetta then turned Phil and Persephone into two conjoined golden statues. She took the throne and became queen of the forest.
The kingdom fell into despair under Vandetta’s rule, they missed Phil and his family as rulers. Phil’s brother Aloysius was walking through the forest with his wife Anna and their daughter Arianna. Arianna was the apple of her father’s eye and she is close to her father. Arianna was short she wore a purple dress and a green bow on her head. She loved to dance, jump rope, and whistle all day long. Her mother was taller she wore a gorgeous white dress, white ballet shoes, and a wonderful spring hat decorated with pink flowers and a white feathered pin. Her father was the tallest he wore an orange vest with leaves on it, and sandals that shone in the sun after he polished them that morning. “Papa I’m tired are we home yet I don’t want to walk anymore”, Arianna whined as she walked on the winding path through the woods. Her father smiled and raised her up on his shoulders and she slept while her father carried her. “Ah! Anna this is nice just the three of us strolling through the woods as a family”, Aloysius said to his wife as she leaned on her husband’s arm. All of a sudden Aloysius collapsed on the floor due to the pressure on his shoulders and right arm. Arianna woke up and began to run down the path when she saw something sparkling in the dirt. Arianna cleared the dirt and revealed an enchanted mirror. She peered at the glass and it wavered and showed her when Vandetta overthrew her uncle and took the throne from him. “Whoa! What was that my cousins, my aunt and uncle are in trouble, I have to save them!”, Arianna exclaimed as she held the magic mirror in her hands. Aloysius ran up to his daughter and noticed the magic mirror in her paws. “Arianna what have you got there, some kind of magic mirror?”, Aloysius asked his daughter as he took her arm and went to meet up with his wife and Arianna’s mother.

When they reunited they headed home for supper. Anna and Arianna sat at the table while Aloysius was busy in the kitchen cooking dinner he was making pasta with mushrooms and a side of pickled bell peppers covered in his famous bechamel sauce. He brought the plates to the table and everything looked so good that even an ant’s mouth would water. “Oh dear you have outdone yourself again this food is fantastic and scrumptious”, Anna exclaimed as her husband sat down to eat. After they ate Aloysius told his daughter to meet him in the basement. When she got to the basement, he said “Arianna, I am the royal wizard for Phil my brother your uncle the king or Former king of Fairytale Forest before that witch Vandetta took the throne.” She looked at the mirror and then gave it to her father and he examined it when all of the sudden the magic mirror wavered and they saw Demeter and Perseus trapped within the magic mirror. “Daddy, Demeter and Perseus are trapped inside the enchanted mirror we have to get them out and defeat Vandetta and bring uncle Phil back to power as king”, Arianna exclaimed tugging on her father’s vest. “Don’t worry sweetie we’ll free them and help release my brother and his wife your aunt and uncle and help Phil take the throne back”, Aloysius told his daughter as he took the mirror and was ready to begin the quest to save Fairytale forest from Vandetta. Aloysius studied the mirror and told Arianna that the mirror had to be touched by the same wand that created it in the first place meaning that they had to take Vandetta’s wand and touch it to the magic mirror and free Demeter and Perseus. He then told Arianna that they had to mix a potion to break the golden statue curse on Phil and Persephone. He read of the potion ingredients which were a drop of water from the swan princess pond, a lock of hair from goldilocks, a gem from King Phil’s crown, a slice from Snow White’s poisoned apple, two golden egg’s from Jack’s goose, the huff and puff of the Big Bad Wolf, and the tears of the prince and princess. He grabbed a beaker for the ingredients and gave the magic mirror to Arianna. She headed off to get Vandetta’s wand and Aloysius began to gather the ingredients, first he got the huff and puff of the big bad wolf which use to be him. Arianna ran toward the palace and saw that it was heavily guarded by knights. “Great if only I could find a way to sneak past those guards”, she began to say when the magic mirror wavered and the knight’s reflection appeared which transformed her into a royal knight so she could get past the royal guards. “Oh that was nice, magic mirror thanks for helping me out”, she said as she ran down the hall to the throne room. Meanwhile her father was busy gathering ingredients for the potion to break Phil and Persephone free from their golden statue prison. “Snow White can I have a slice of the poisoned apple it’s for a potion to save Phil and Persephone and vanquish Vandetta from the forest”, Aloysius explained to the young woman as he held out the potion beaker to her. She put a slice in the beaker and he thanked her then he set off to get the next ingredient for the magic potion.
