OWCCS News Old Wykehamist Chapel Choir Society met in Winchester on Saturday 16 th May. Jeremy Summerly( A, 74-78) corralled a choir of record numbers during rehearsals and they produced an uplifting choral evensong in Chapel that evening, led by The Revd Ben Sargent( CoRo, 25-), Dean of Chapel. Revd David Reid( I, 91-96; CoRo, 25-) spoke during his sermon of the importance of sacred music as part of worship. All in attendance were reminded by the Headmaster of how fundamental to the school is its choral tradition, including the Quiristers.
OW Cornflowers News The Old Wykehamist Cornflowers is the alumni association for LGBT + former pupils of Win Coll. Founded in 2016, Cornflowers Soc exists to foster a like-minded community, to establish new friendships, and to provide an avenue for networking. This year marks ten years since the establishment of Cornflowers Soc.
Cornflowers has over 80 members, ranging in age from those in their 20s to 70 year olds, from all manner of career paths and backgrounds, and representing every house in the school. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming and entertaining crowd.
The next two events are:
• a Cornflowers dinner, in autumn 2026, to mark ten years since our foundation;
• a further Cornflowers dinner, in spring 2027, to mark ten years since our first event.

Thirty Years-On Reunion – Class of‘ 96 On Tuesday 12 th May, 32 Old Wykehamists celebrated their 30 years-on reunion in Farringdon at The Winemakers’ Club. Organised by Harry Lascelles( H, 91-96); and described by
Arthur Byng Nelson( F, 91-96) as‘ an extremely successful evening’. In attendance were former dons Dr Peter Cramer( CoRo, 94-18) and Laurence Wolff( CoRo, 82-17).
