The True Imam Mehdi
The title‘ Imam Mehdi’ relates to the fact that the awaited personality’ s image will be prominent on the Moon.‘ Mehdi’ in Persian means,‘ The One of the Moon’.
Imam Mehdi is the title used for the Awaited One in Islam, but the Awaited One is not just for Muslims. Most religions await a messianic figure who will come in the end times and provide salvation to mankind. Ask yourself: if all the religions are awaiting different personalities of similar abilities to arrive in the same era, would there not be a conflict between them?
It is not God’ s temperament to send more than one personality of the same calibre in the same age. Whether you call him Messiah, Kalki Avatar or Imam Mehdi, these are different titles given to a single personality: the Awaited One.
Imam Mehdi is a universal figure. His bounty and doctrine of love will equally benefit all human beings on Earth, without reservations or prejudice.
In the original concept of Imam Mehdi, he is supposed to come after the expiration of Islam. According to the sayings of Prophet Mohammad, Imam Mehdi will emerge when the entire world will have been filled with tyranny, oppression, bloodshed and all other bad deeds and vices.
