Prophet Mohammad has been quoted as saying , ‘ A time will come upon humanity when nothing will remain in Islam for except its name and nothing will remain in the Koran for except the customary recitation . Their mosques will be fancy but there will be no guidance in those mosques . And nothing under the sky will be more mischievous than their religious scholars . From them mischief will emerge and into them , mischief will return .’ [ Narrated by Ali , Mishkat al-Masabih 1 / 91 Hadith 276 ]
Another prophecy foretells that a day will come when the Koran will be lifted by God . [ Narrated by al-Daarimi with a saheeh isnaad , no . 3209 ] Many people take the literal meaning of this statement , and declare that the words will disappear off physical books . However , the Prophet Mohammad also said , ‘ There will come a time upon the Muslim nation when people will recite the Koran , but it will not go further than their throats ( into their hearts ).’ [ Bukhari ]
Therefore it seems far more likely that the first prophecy was hinting at the moment in time when mankind would stop being guided by scripture .
It is logical to conclude that the era of Imam Mehdi will be one in which people will be religious , but ignorant of the religion ’ s true purpose .
If we look at the state of affairs today , there is no denying that Islam has ceased to exist . Over 73 sects have emerged and never has there been so much widespread , barbaric killing in the name of Islam . According to oral traditions , then , the time for Imam Mehdi ’ s advent is now .
So if Imam Mehdi isn ’ t coming to spread Islam throughout the world , as Wahhabis and Shi ’ ites claim , what will he do ?
According to the Koran , flocks of humanity will enter the Religion of God in the future . [ 110:1-3 ]
The Muslim faith awaits Imam Mehdi in the end times , while also declaring Prophet Mohammad to be the last of all prophets . When there will be no other prophet and there will be a religion established in the future , it makes sense to say that the responsibility of establishing the Religion of God has been given to the
Awaited One , Imam Mehdi .
The Koran said , ‘ When the true believers of all religions quit their religion , God will send his own nation on Earth . They will love God and God will love them .’ [ Koran : 5:54 ] According to the Torah , towards the end times , God ’ s sons will come on Earth . [ Romans 8:19 ]
His Divine Eminence Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi , believed by many to be the Awaited Imam Mehdi , Messiah and Kalki Avatar , has declared God ’ s religion to be God ’ s love . His message is the continuation of the message of Lord Jesus Christ , which is nothing but pure , divine love .
According to Biblical texts , Jesus is to return towards the end times . [ Hebrews 9:28 ESV ]
As per the Muslim faith , Jesus will return towards the end times when the advent of Imam Mehdi ’ s takes place , and Jesus and Imam Mehdi will work together . [ Bihar al- Anwar , vol . 51 p . 76 ]
The new religion of love will be the only religion in the world , because every single human being will want to adopt it . [ Koran 110:1-3 ] With the help of Imam Mehdi , Lord Jesus Christ and their doctrine of love , this world will turn into a beautiful place .
Like God , Imam Mehdi sees all equally . Imam Mehdi is going to fill the world with justice and hearts of humanity with love . He is not an enemy of Christians , Jews , Hindus or any other religion . He does not see the USA , Israel or any other Western country as an enemy . He is neither a political figure nor a militant ; he is the Universal Saviour who has come to help humanity connect with God regardless of their religion .
With the revolutionary spiritual teachings introduced by Imam Mehdi , the hearts of humanity will be filled with God ’ s presence and united under the umbrella of divine love . Peace and justice will prevail .
Imam Mehdi will not establish a worldwide caliphate ; rather , Imam Mehdi along with Lord Jesus Christ shall establish the Kingdom of God on Earth . The Kingdom of God is not to be established on land , but in the hearts !
