MEET THE OFFICERS

TREASURER

Meet our 2016-17 Treasurer, Bretta Lichtenwalner, from Liberty Common HIgh School

The Torch: What first sparked your interest in JCL?

BL: There are about seven of us Latin students in my grade; we're all friends, and we spend lots of time together. When Mary-Claire proposed that we start a JCL chapter at Liberty, we were all really excited to put a name to basically what we did anyway. And go to convention!

The Torch: What are your goals this year for the COJCL?

BL: I really hope we can bring events like Fall Forum back and make some new ones, so that there's more than one JCL event each year.

The Torch: What are you most excited for this upcoming year (JCl-wise)?

BL: I think Fall Forum is going to be a blast, and unlike any Latin event most of us in JCL have seen!

The Torch: Favorte Latin quote/motto?

BL: Ars gratia artis - art for the sake of art.

The Torch: Any quirky or interesting facts about yourself, hobbies, relations, etc.?

BL: My elbows are double jointed, so they can bend the other way. I'm really good at that human knot game you always play at camps and stuff!
