Large Scale Service Project
UNM CKI President , Kelsey Vishaway , and Circle K International members from around the world met in Vancouver , Canada to construct two playgrounds for a school in need on June 23 , 2013 . Members constructed both playgrounds in two days , saving the school and their annex approximately $ 35,000 . Other members volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House , cleaned local parks , as well as packaged and stocked food items at a Vancouver food bank generating over 2,500 hours of community service in just two days ! Circle K International meets each year for an annual International Convention and service project in the host city in which International board members are voted on and amendments to bylaws are created in addition to many new friendships .
