K-Family Update
Chelsea Fox here, your Kiwanis Family Relations Chair. I had the opportunity to attend this year’s Kiwanis District convention in Litchfield Park, Az. CKI did some major representing there. We had a table set up pre-selling our Fall Rally shirts, we sold quite a few, and I can’t wait to see all of those Kiwanians sporting our CKI wear this October! We also did some fundraising for the Eliminate Project and participated in their early morning Eliminate walk. There was also a scavenger hunt, a flash mob at dinner, and lots of Kiwanians getting down on the dance floor. Being there definitely motivated me in my position to get more connected with our K-family and do more wonderful things with them. School starts next week and I have got a great idea to start it off right with our K-family. I dare you all to have your first service project of the school year to include any and all Kiwanians, Key Clubbers, Builder Clubbers, K-Kids, and Aktion Clubbers in your area.
