Every month we will recognize (a) member(s) who have gone above and beyond in their Leadership, Fellowship, and Service skills throughout the District. This month we would like to recognize: All new members who sign up for CKI at Welcome Back days at their respective schools! Can’t wait to see all the great service you will do this year!
I can’t believe the new semester has already started for some of us! I know most of the clubs were less active than usual during the summer months, but I hope you are all ready to really kick it into gear with your service hours this semester. With over 750 service hours completed since April, we are just over onetenth of the way to reaching our goal of 7,500 service hours for the year. I know it seems like a lot, but the Southwest District is MORE than capable of completing 7,500 hours of service this year. Now is the time to start looking for cool, creative service projects for your clubs. Don’t worry if you are running low on ideas. You can always feel free to ask other club members/presidents, your lieutenant governor, or a district board member. On the flipside, if you have a really cool service project idea, don’t be afraid to share it with the rest of the district! I hope your semester starts well!
