Each month there will be a section where you have a chance to be entered into a drawing for multiple Kiwanis Family memorabilia and other prizes! The drawing will happen at District Convention. If you can’ t attend and are chosen for a prize we will mail one to you.
Answer all three of the Trivia Question in a message to the SWS on Facebook by May 22 nd to be entered! The first two people to respond correctly will be entered.

Meet the District Administrator
" The Modem Cowboy "
The District Administrator is the advisor and counselor for CKI and serves as the liaison between CKI district and the Southwest Kiwanis District. The DA works directly with the CKI Governor and also with other board members, committee chairs, club presidents and members where helpful.
Your CKI administrator is a native of New Mexico, born in Albuquerque, grew up in Alamogordo, and graduated from Taos High School. His undergraduate degree in philosophy, and is from St. John ' s College- Santa Fe and he holds a MBA from Western New Mexico University. Bob also has completed certificate courses in financial marketing from Colorado University and commercial lending from the University of Oklahoma. He has a passion for education.
Bob is working on his fourth and last career as president and co-owner of an insurance services business in Silver City. He is a former retail store manager, banker and CFO for a domestic violence shelter. For the past ten years Bob has been a member of the faculty at Western New Mexico University and teaches, marketing, management, micro and macroeconomics.
Bob and his wife Alma live in Silver City and have raised two boys; both now married, and have two grandchildren. Bob and Alma are active Kiwanis members, and Alma currently serves as Lt. Governor for Division 7. Bob joined the Kiwanis family as a junior at Taos High School and served as Lt. Governor. Rejoining Kiwanis again in 1996, Bob is the current president of the Kiwanis Club of Silver City and has served twice as Lt. Governor for division 7. He sits on the board of directors for the Southwest District Foundation and is the past chair for Key Leader.
