‘Changes’: A Group
Exhibition
Until Saturday 18 January 2020
This Group Exhibition brings together a number
of artists who started their artistic journey by
pursuing the post-Leaving Certificate course in
Art and Design in Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed,
Thurles.
Artists showing at ‘Changes’ include Nikita
Oakley, Paraic Leahy, Daniel Ryan, Frank Rafter,
Lauren Connors and Sean O’Sullivan – all of
whom graduated in various fields such as
painting, sculpture, design and animation.
The word ‘change’ in the title of the exhibition
reflects the growth, development and evolution
of these artists as they move from initial
interest, to education and then to a post-
education world of the arts. The exhibition
looks to identify and chart some of the paths
and the allied practices these artists have taken
in their chosen careers through the work on
display.

renowned Rockfield Studios in Wales recording
with Grammy winning producer Matt Lawrence

helm and created the EP entitled Gold & Rust
consisting of 6 progressive sonic masterpieces.
During all this, the band has been touring
extensively to sold out houses across Ireland,
the UK, Middle East, Australia and the US. Their
most recent song ‘Heaven’ was released in June
