(And a forum member in the chat was kind enough to inform them that there are no bears in Scotland.

Films like "The Lost World", "Sucker Punch", and "The Book of Eli" as well as televisions shows like "Terra Nova" have all been subjected to these story room sessions.

WE'RE PROFESSIONALS - BUT NOT AT THIS

While all the regular panelists are involved with the movie industry, they don't consider themselves professional podcasters.

Certainly there are many, many moments when they are less than professional. (These moments were turned into a 2nd anniversary, out of context, NSFW mashup by their webmaster, Holden Hill:

They look up facts on IMDB, they talk over one another, they drink during recordings - All the kinds of things friends do when they watch movies together. And as the listener, it's a joy to feel a part of that.

A CREATIVE COMMUNITY

The greatest and most terrible thing about creativity is the way it spirals out of control. Not only is the forum a great place to discuss storytelling, members are also encouraged to post their own creative endeavours for comment and critique.

Over the years, people on the forum have gotten together to do community projects including a radio play and several short films. There are frequent casting calls for projects, as well as simple requests for advice.

It's been 5 years that Teague and the boys have been doing this - I sincerely hope that they don't stop anytime soon.

Not only has this podcast changed the way I watch movies, it also introduced me to an entire community who share my passion for creative pursuits.
