Over the years a sort of creative awakening happened when I began to write and compose music that reflected my innermost thoughts , feelings and experiences . I was craving to explore different genres , experiment with my sound and also produce my own music . That made me take the decision to go to Berklee college of Music , Boston . Recording my first album ’ Attuned Spirits ’ in Boston and to see my own songs and arrangements come to life was a dream come true . This album was a true representation of my artistic vision . This new found passion for authentic expression became the driving force behind my decision to become an independent musician .
Your newest release “ Manwa Bhaagey ” is a beautiful Hindi fusion song . Could you share the creative process behind writing and composing it ?
Vasuda : ‘ Manwa Bhaagey ” takes us on a nostalgic journey back to our carefree days where innocence and wonder filled our hearts , it paints a vivid picture of relishing the joy of childhood , where imagination ran wild and every day was an adventure . I went through a phase when I had a strong desire to revisit and cherish precious moments of my childhood . I had a heartfelt chat with my mother reminiscing my childhood days . There was a sense of longing for simpler times , still is . She helped me pen down those outpouring emotions that eventually turned into a song .
How do you feel about your solo single ’ s release , and what message do you hope to convey to your listeners through the song ? What makes it special ?
Vasuda : ‘ Manwa Bhaagey ” is a childhood reverie holding some of the sweetest memories . With a mix of longing and gratitude , the song captures the essence of that childlike spirit , reminding us to hold onto the magic that resides within us and to always embrace the power of nostalgia as a source of comfort and inspiration .

Describe to us your practise routine before a song recording and also before a concert
Vasuda : I start with warming up my vocal cords using scales , humming and lip trills . Deep breathing and keeping myself hydrated before the recording really helps .
