Over the last two years , could you take us through some key developments within the organization
The pandemic made the entire world face unprecedented challenges and no industry remained untouched . From devising new business plans to gradually restructuring budgetary allocations and rethinking strategies , this pandemic gave us the time to contemplate a whole new dimension . At Sennheiser , we took every possible step to fight this pandemic and help our consumers , partners and employees during these tough times .
After more than 50 years , audio specialist Sennheiser is once again focusing exclusively on its professional business . With our three business units , Pro Audio , Business Communications and Neumann , we intend to achieve above-average growth from our own resources and further expand our strong position in the global market
With the live music scene taking a hit , how did Sennheiser manage to stay active ?
The Coronavirus pandemic has had a very tangible impact across all sectors including broadcast and proaudio market . All on-ground events , music festivals and concerts were cancelled or postponed . There is no doubt that the situation had presented a challenging circumstance for the entire audio industry . However , our other three business segments - Pro Audio , Business Communications and Neumann saw encouraging demand and growth during the pandemic . Sennheiser Business Communications became the first choice for advanced audio technology that makes collaboration and learning easier for corporates and education fields . Because we have premium solutions to offer for different verticals and applications , we saw pent up demand in the market for our range of products across our three business units .
