पंाह अगस्त भारत के अिावा तीन अन्य दे शों का भी
स्वतंत्रता प्रदवस है . दल्क्षण कोिरया जापान से 15 अगस्त, 1945
को आजाद हुआ। प्रब्रटेन से बहरीन को 15 अगस्त, 1971 को
आजादी प्रमिी थी और फ्ांस ने कांगो को 15 अगस्त, 1960 को
स्वतंत्र घोप्रषत प्रकया था।
पंाह अगस्त, 1854 को ईस्ट इंप्रिया रेिवे ने किकत्ता
(वतफमान में कोिकाता) से हुगिी तक पहिी यात्री ीेन चिाई थी
सका था।
16. पंाह अगस्त 1872 को प्रब्रप्रटश राज से भारत को आजादी
प्रदिाने में शाप्रमि रहने वािे महर्षष अरचबदो घोष का जन्म हुआ
था।

resulted in spontaneous resistance
from the local people. Almost one
hundred years before India’s First War
of Independence (1857), Adivasis of
Jharkhand were already beginning
what would become a series of
repeated revolts against the British
colonial rule.
Presence of king's family
There are many places in Jharkhand
where kings generation is living.
Namely Ranchi, Ratu (where there is a
palace

Chandwa
(Tori estate), Latehar,
Pochra, Chetag, Mahual-milan (rol)
and many moved to different states of
country and few flew to some different
countries.

1855-1860 During the late 1850s Sidhu had accumulated about ten thousands
Santhal to run parallel government against British rule. The basic
purpose was to collect taxes by making his own laws. British
Government had announced an award of Rs. 10,000 to arrest Sidhu
and his brother Kanhu
1856-1857 Martyr Sahid Lal, Vishwanath Shahdeo, Sheikh Bhikhari, Ganpatrai
and Budhu Veer led a movement against the British Government
during India’s First War of Independence, 1857, also called Sepoy
Mutiny

Kherwar Movement shot into fame under the leadership of Bhagirathi
Manjhi
1895-1900 Movement against the British raj led by Birsa Munda (born 15
November 1875). Birsa Munda was captured by British forces and
declared dead on 9 June 1900 in Ranchi Jail, due to Cholera, according
to records of the British colonial government.
All of these uprisings were quelled by the British through massive
deployment of troops across the region.
1914
Tana Bhagat resistance movement started, which gained the particip-
ation of more than 26,000 adivasis, and eventually merged with MK
Gandhi's Satyagraha and Civil Disobedience movement.
