GIRLS ’ CRICKET Senior XI

A season of good progress for the girls ; the highlight has been a great win in a very competitive game versus Ampleforth . The girls have made good progress in advancing their technical skills – bowling , in particular , has improved . Hopefully , other schools will be better placed to fulfil fixtures next season , as some more gameplay would seriously challenge this group .

What a wonderful season these girls have had – they have made wonderful progress throughout the season and have started to really take to the game . Great batting demonstrated by all , and the girls scored some wonderful boundaries in a high scoring game against Mount St Mary ’ s , which was the highlight of our season . The greatest improvement has come in our fielding , and it has been great to see the girls even dabbling in a bit of hard ball towards the end of the season . Well done .
