CHARITY REVIEW
It was wonderful to be able to run a fully interactive Charity Week this year ( no more social bubbles !).
Lots of exciting events were organised , from the hugely popular Staff Gunging to Non-Uniform Day , alongside lots of tutor group events that were a huge hit .
All ages and interests were kept thoroughly entertained , as well as raising money for this year ’ s four chosen charities : World Land Trust , Save the Children , McMillian Cancer Support , and OSCARS Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity .
Despite some pretty horrible weather conditions – car washing in a snow blizzard was certainly something the Wilberforce Sixth Form group will not forget ! – overall , we had a really successful week and raised £ 3,800 .
Thank you to everyone who has donated or supported our Charity Committee this year – from giving up their time , to donations of money or gifts , every single act of kindness has not gone un-noticed .
