2. THE BIG TIME
This is it! The venue dreams are made of! You've seen all your favorite bands grace this stage over the years and now it's your turn. FINALLY! But as you look into the crowd, you quickly realize the same 50 people that typically pack out those smaller venues, just look barren and sad in a venue meant to house several hundreds. But who cares, have you SEEN how big the stage is?!
3. BLINK AND MISS IT
You know this place. You played here once or twice, had an amazing experience, and couldn't WAIT to book another show. Only to find out it's been turned into a place for grandma to play bingo. Bummer.
4. HOME AWAY FROM HOME
All of the staff here know you and your band by name and you've started gaining a steady following. You've played here soooo many times now, that you joke about how you're pretty much a local now! Oh wait, you want US to headline? but we're from out of town...
5. HOUSE PARTY
The pressure is off and this is your chance to be a fucking rockstar! You're drunk, your band mates are drunk, and the audience is trashed and looking to get rowdy! Own it! Better yet, since there's usually no rental fee or costs to cover, all the bands get 100% of profit. Just watch out for noise complaints and those pesky police.
