Take Time to

Rejuvenate

By Terri Carboni

Take time to take care of yourself.

When we nourish ourselves we feel better, we look better and those around us benefit too!
Ways to rejuvenate:
• Be mindful of your breath.
• Be aware of negative thoughts and redirect to positive thoughts.
• Be grateful.
• Allow for quiet time.
• Try something refreshingly new.
• Make time for family and friends.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Eat organic when possible; load up on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
• Use face / body / makeup and household products that contain the least amount of chemicals.
• Dry brush your skin before you bathe.
• Take a bath with Essential Oils and Epsom salts.
• Add almond, grapeseed, or jojoba oil to body moisturizer or use alone after a bath or shower.
• Give yourself a scalp massage with conditioner.
• Give yourself a hand or foot massage.
• Protect the pH balance of your skin by not using harsh products or hot water. Rinse with warm water for a short duration.
• Protect your skin with sunscreen daily with spf 30.
• Use mineral make-up with UV protective qualities to layer your sun protection.
• Cover up with sun protective hat and clothing.
• Check in with your dermatologist for a skin check yearly.
• Exercise to energize YOU.
