Social Media was the primary method of tangible marketing for the event. Facebook was
the most successful platform and had the highest engagement levels.
Word of mouth was also extremely effective as it drew traffic to the website and social
media channels.
Flyers and posters were distributed in various, suitable locations across the city centre,
however, there was no real way to measure their success.
The website was necessary as all ticket purchases were directed this way for the link to
Eventbrite. Directing people to the website aided the ticket purchasing process - feedback
from attendees stated that they found the process easy.
