loudly at him but that didn’t bother him as much as the lock on the door did
as the gate was pretty low and it came up only to his waist. It was made of
woven steel that formed a diamond pattern- another intriguing factor.
Locklin thought of climbing the little gate when he witnessed a light
approaching him through the mist. Eventually, an old man appeared, with
his wrinkled face was frowning. "What do you seek?" asked the old man.
Locklin had been prepared and so he knew that he could not respond to that
question by just saying ‘The Healer.’ He fixed his posture, looked the old
man in the eye and said, "clarity" as he swallowed the lump that had
formed in his throat.
The old man then turned the key on the padlock and as he pulled the small
gate and led him to the healer.
Locklin then lost his consciousness but regained it in the dream. He was
aware that his body was lying on some leaves but suspect that he was
floating in water while dreaming. The dream was unfolding around him but
