ROTARACT CLUB OF UDOM-YOUTH STORIES.
The Rotaract club of UDOM-Youth joined hands with Rotaract Club of Kairuki and TAMSA
UDOM to impact the lives of children at Shime orphanage located at Makulu, Dodoma.
It was 20th July,2019 morning where by two Rotaract Clubs and TAMSA members met at
orphanage with several items to donate like food, pads, nice packed clothes, bags, shoes, soaps,
exercise books, pens and sugar. We were able to donate all these items from 531,000/=TZS
donated by members from the Rotaract Clubs of UDOM-Youth, Kairuki and TAMSA.
Every member got chance to inspire children through inspirational speech and different song.
Lastly, we provided education about reproductive health and menstrual hygiene to the
orphanage girls aged from 8-17 years old.
Without forgetting about having fun and appreciating others, we had a social event at the end
of the month at Harvana to honour the best outgoing Rotaractors who have graduated from
our University. It was fun and inspirational to the new members.
“I personally want to thank the Rotaract club and its management for show such kindness and
such gratitude to finalist this was such kindness and amazing event that I haven’t experienced
in a long while. I have never regretted join Rotaract and never I will. There is no way to pay back
to this family but this is spirit, be blessed” Suleiman Abbas.
Those were the words of the one of finalist from Rotaract of UDOM-Youth after the social
event.
