The Stone Pear Pavilion will honor our fathers with
a Father’s Day Ice Cream “Sunday” Social on June
16th at 2:15 P.M. in the dining room. Guests can

433 or at the sign-up sheet at the nurses’ station by
Sunday, June 9th.

The Stone Pear celebrated
National Skilled Nursing Care
week last month with week-
long festivities for residents
and staff with the national
theme “Live Soulfully”. The
week commenced with a Kick-
off Luncheon and Nacho Bar,
followed with a week full
of soul inspired activities,
including a performance from
Elvis, soul cooking demo
with Todd, and crafting and
gardening hobbies good for the
soul. Congratulations to the winners of Mr. Fox’s
daily giveaways all week long: Janet Brown, Norma
Welsh, Renee Payton, Erin Smith and Samantha
Watkins.

On May 17th, The Orchards of East Liverpool held
their 3rd annual Prom. The residents were offered
gowns and suits to wear for the occasion. Hair and
makeup for the ladies of the facility were provided.
DJ Lonnie Boyles Jr. was in the facility to provide
entertainment for the evening. Family members
joined residents and staff as we danced the night
away. The King and Queen were chosen by random
draw and crowned to a round of applause from all in
attendance. The dietary department provided Hors
d’oeuvre and punch. It was a great evening that left
everyone smiling.
