His thoughts on the sport that has served him so well?
"Boxing is the best sport. I started in combat sports with taekwondo. I got the black belt and then moved into boxing. It is a sport for gentlemen.
"I also played football (Soccer in the States) and was good at it but, somehow, I just can't see myself in a team sport. In boxing you are eye to eye with your opponent and you have only yourself to rely on.
"Sporting motives come first with me. I know the money will come eventually. It's sad but everyone only seems to see everything through money.
" I know how it is, however. I am an old fox."
An old fox is a Serbian metaphor for a very experienced person who knows the score. They are seen as a knowledgeable person.
