As all we know living in a dorm can be fun but there are some hardships as well. There can be big
problems. Here are some tips for them. Do you think that you can get rid of those things? No way! Be ready for them!
1. KILLJOY ROOMMATES!
You can be a roommate with the worst person. They can laugh very loudly, listen to music when you’re
sleeping, they can be nerds. Some roommates can be really messy, they don’t do the laundry, and their desks are like

head! Sometimes you want to kill them but there is nothing you can do. So be ready for all kinds of
personalities.
Tips: If you can’t stand your roommate, you can go out and take some fresh air! You should behave kindly and respectful to your
roommates. Be in peace. If you have a good friendship with them residential life will be much more easy and fun!
2. UNSETTLING RULES
There are always advisors. Normative advisors! Dorm rules can be really obtrusive. Sleeping at 11 p.m. , imperative
study time every day, compulsory meetings… You can’t do anything you want in residence. There are infinite rules. Be careful
it won’t be same with your old sweet home!
Tips: Get on well with advisors; never argue with them if there is not a serious problem. Hitting it off with them is an
advantage for you.
3. ICKY BATHROOMS
Oh bathrooms! Maybe it is the worst thing for a lot of residential student. Sometimes they are not clean; you can’t find stuffs like
toilet paper, soap. Laundry can cause problems too. If you forget to pick up your clothes, sorry but you will probably find them on another
side of bathroom or never find them again. They might vanish mysteriously.
Tips: You can use the very first or the last toilet people don’t use them too much. So they are the best ones. You can set an alarm
for your laundry. It will be so helpful to not forget them.
4. HOME SWEET HOME
Being far for miles and miles from your family is the worst thing. You can only talk on the phone with them. You can call your
