James Curl teaches as an emeritus faculty member at Modesto Junior College after 43 years as full-time faculty. During this time he created the curriculum for a computer-based statistics course and a developmental math program. He spent over a decade developing a 24/7 Internet access video-based distance learning program equivalent to an on-campus class in arithmetic, beginning and intermediate algebra, and statistics.

Una Daly is the community college outreach manager for the Open Courseware Consortium, where she promotes awareness and adoption of open educational practices to improve teaching and learning at community colleges. Prior to joining the consortium, she was the director of the College Open Textbooks Collaborative, promoting adoption of open accessible textbooks through faculty adopter communities, and accessibility awareness of open educational materials. Her expertise also includes computer technologies and ePortfolios for learning assessment in health licensing and engineering.

Dr. Kevin Davidson is presently an adjunct faculty member at Santa Barbara City College and is also an online mentor/faculty member at Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey. Since 2006, he has taught exclusively online using WebCT, Moodle, and Blackboard Academic Suite. Kevin holds a master’s degree in photography from Brooks Institute and teaches online photo I, fine art photography and digital darkroom classes. Additionally, he holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Juilliard School.

Anthony Delaney has been teaching students for 13 years and is currently a tenured English professor at De Anza College. Anthony enjoys teaching hybrid and online classes, and continually strives to find new ways to engage students through technology and media.
