for the pious ones.” – Quran
(28:83)
Sayyida Fatima Zahra (a.s) stood
up against tyranny, those
oppressors that were in constant
opposition with her Father
(s.a.w) and then her husband
(a.s), Sayyida Fatima Zahra (a.s)
is raised highest in rank, the
embodiment and perfection of
the divine feminine principle, the
manifestation of Allah's (swt)
intense mercy, compassion and
grace, a perfect expression of His
(swt) Beautiful attributes. Sayyida
Fatima Zahra (a.s) was her
father’s daughter who spoke up
against oppression and injustice
in the face of it and she suffered
severely for her stand and her
position among the ignorant
ones, a pure and perfect heavenly
creation of Allah (swt) living in
the traps of such vile detestable
clutches of creatures as Umar
Ibn Khattab (l.a).
Even before her birth Prophet
Muhammad (s.a.w) and Sayyida
Khadijah (a.s) suffered hardships
imposed by the people. There
was nobody willing to assist
Sayyida Khadijah (a.s) during
childbirth, because they opposed
her support to Prophet
Muhammad (s.a.w). Allah (swt)
sent the souls of 4 ladies from
heaven, which assisted her
during her delivery. These were
Sara (r.a), wife of Prophet Musa
(a.s), Aasiya (r.a), wife of Firaun,
Maryam (a.s), mother of Prophet
Isa (a.s) and Umme Kulthum
(r.a) (sister of Prophet Musa a.s).
Sayyida Fatima Zahra (a.s) was
born to Sayyida Khadijah (a.s)
and Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)
on Friday 20th Jamaadul Aakher.
Sayyida Khadijah (pbuh) said
that "Fatimah was born in a halo
of radiance and light" Unlike
what was customary in those
days, Sayyida Fatimah Zahra (a.s)
was nursed personally by her
mother. She was not given to a
wet nurse. The name Fatimah
means weaning - one who will wean
her followers from the fire of hell.
“That abode in the hereafter, We
assign it for those who intend
not to exalt themselves in the
earth, nor (to make) mischief
(therein); and the end is (best)
