I feel most of us when we come into religion, we become so focused on it (which I am not slating or disagreeing with, consider it an observation) that we forget about the world around us and how we can and should draw inspiration from anything and everything good because guidance can be sought from Allah (swt) through it if we are open to receiving it. “We declare our right on this earth to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence By Any Means Necessary.” – Malcolm X "Wash the mud off your eyes and ears, so that you can see Allah and hear Allah and know that Allah talks to you even through a rock." – Ahmad al Hassan (a.s) Mola Ali Waaris I see Malcolm X as a beautiful Shia. And of course you have the right to disagree with me on that, however I am entitled to my opinion as are you. To me, a Shia is one that fights injustice, oppression and inequity and does not back down before a tyrant. A Shia is one that does not desire the Dunya or prestige and worldly honour, but lives a humble life in servitude. One who lives by God conscious, righteous principles. Does this not exemplify Malcolm? Malcolm was a fearless revolutionary, one whom deserves to be honoured at every opportunity and given the respect he deserves. So, with this edition of “The Mahdi Times”, I honour Malcolm and all those revolutionaries who fought against the Dajjalic system fearlessly and tirelessly, who looked the Dajjal in the eye and did not back down. Viva La Revolucion! Fi Aman Allah Laila Ali
