On Wednesday April went to Wiggs Middle School where she spoke to the students and had a lunch and book signing with students who had pre-purchased one of her books. Friday she spent the morning at Brown MS and the afternoon at Lincoln. Brown MS hosted a faculty meet and greet with Mrs. Henry before she spoke to the students. Additionally, April was kind enough to participate in Read Across the District. Afterwards, Mrs. Henry had a meet and greet/book signing lunch at Lincoln, and spoke to the students there about being an author.
All the schools who were lucky enough to have April Henry stop by and speak said that it was terrific experience as she was an engaging and funny presenter.
