Physical health education and athletics are integral parts of Crofton House School ’ s whole-girl approach to learning and include a blend of competitive spirit , teamwork and fun for each student .
It was an exciting year for athletics in the Junior and Senior Schools as they both welcomed new program coordinators . With 11 years of experience in the CHS Junior School Athletics program , Tricia Gilmore-Cohee moved to support athletics in the Senior School . The Junior School welcomed Robyn Pendleton . Robyn competed on the Canadian national women ’ s field hockey team from 2009 to 2011 and her passion for mental , physical and social wellbeing through teaching and sport has taken her around the world .
The focus for both the Junior and Senior Schools was on growing participation and involvement for the wider community , encouraging everyone to build their skill and confidence or try a new sport .
