DID  YOU  KNOW?     Antonie  van  Leeuwenhoek:   Antoine van Leeuwenhoek was Dutch scientist who contributed mainly to   the area of study of biology. He is considered to be the first “Microbiologist”   because thanks to his study and improvement of the microscope he could   see microorganisms and he started to study them. That is why they call him   the “Father of Microbiology”. His work on the microscope and his discoveries   in Microbiology help us to study small organisms like bacteria and viruses. This   now helps scientists and doctors all around the world.       Andrea  Vesalius:   Andreas Vesalius was born on December 31 of 1514 in Belgium. His father and   grandfather had been involved in physics. When Vesalius graduated, he was offered   a job to make surgeries and anatomies. He always preformed dissections on animals to see what they had on their inside. Then, he experimented with humans to explore   the human body and thanks to that he was able to write about ways to treat a   variety of  illnesses. He published a book named “De Humani Corporis Fabrica” that was based on human dissections and how they differ from published a book named   “De Humani Corporis Fabrica” that was based on human dissections and how they   differ fromanimals that had a similar structure as humans (apes). He kept his studying   Paracelsus:   Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenhiem best known as   Paracelsus, was a swiss/ german Physician, alchemist, botanist, oculist and   astrologer. He lived during the Renaissance and was considered the luther of   medicine. He Founded the discipline of toxicology and using observation of   nature instead of checking texts, regarding medical practice. He gave Zinc   its name and gave name to the terms "gas" and "chemistry". stated some   diseases are from psychological illness.
