The Millennial Generation are individuals also known as “Generation Me” and these new breed of buyers are known for their rejection of social conventions, They have been told they were special while growing up – leading to confidence and tolerance, but also a good dose of narcissism and a sense of entitlement as compared to other generational subsets.

They are highly educated, inquisitive and curious.

By 2017, Gen Y will represent 44% of home buyers.

They tend to be hipsters, stylish and yo very social.

They value homeownership as an investment.

They tend to be frugal, having come out of school into a deep recession.

They aren’t impressed by traditional luxury.

• Not only do they not necessarily trust traditional advertising anymore, they don’t even see traditional advertising anymore.

• They understand the real estate industry and tend to research more.
