MY JOURNEY WITH C APRE C ON VOLUNTEERS AND BENEFICIARIES SPEAK LITTLE DROPS OF KINDNESS T he story of a restless young man, the story of a future visionary leader and community development worker .  I have always seen this trait in Ishmael, and as mentor, I have been doing what mentors do: bringing the best out of him. Ishmael who is a stage performer, rapper and polytechnic student from northern Ghana is a recipient of Caprecon scholarship programme. Not long ago, he visited a community school and was appalled by the degradation he witnessed. The students were sitting on  the bare floor in classrooms, walking with bare feet, there was no furniture to aid learning and something had to be done. The Kusanaba primary school, Ghana, Upper East Region, Bawku West District had no desk to study and zealous students had to sit on the floor? And we at Caprecon stepped in. Working with Ishmael, we were able to get some benches for the use of these students. Our next project is making sure they do not go to school on bare feet. I salute you Ishmael, I salute your vision and courage.  .  We are glad that the students finally have desks and benches to study. Thanks to Adawi Ishmael for volunteering with Caprecon to get this done.
