Ryan Moreno Ryan Moreno has changed so much since his first day walking into Walden Grove High School. Being apart of student council, cross country, soccer, and film, he has grown into the person he is today through the people he’s met and all the activities he’s been apart of. Ryan is going to be attending Arizona State University to major in Film and Television Development with a minor in marketing. Homecoming of this year was a time he will never forget, as well as lip syncing with Cesar, team dinners, and the lessons he has learned from being a leader in Student Council and the people he continually surrounded himself with everyday. The person he’s learned the most from was Mr. Davalos, his film teacher, who taught him that though life can be hard sometimes and people may hate on you, it’s how you persevere that’ll make who you really are. Christian Dixon Christian Dixon is an up and coming actor who plans to be the next big thing. From being the president of drama club to portraying the Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland, theater has been his main focus throughout high school. He plans to get his Bachelors in Fine Arts and even just recently got and performed an audition for AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) Besides acting, some of the biggest take aways he got from high school were meeting his best friend Kristen, callbacks and audition results, and how he has matured and grown as a person and actor. He would like to thank Mr. Lebovitz and Ms. Youngblood for teaching him not to settle for less and go for what he wants to do, no matter how big. Carlos Quihuiz Although Carlos Quihuiz has won 3 Back to Back to Back state championships, as well as competing as a soloist in state for dance, it is just the beginning for him. After his high school days are over, he will be transferring to the U of A to study graphic design. The dream for the young artist is to one day be an animator for disney or dreamworks. Carlos’ most greatest high school moments have happened in the dance room and it’s all thanks to his coach and role model Ms. Lopez. Since his freshman year, he has became more confident with himself, been able to open up and speak his mind, and how to think more creativley and outside the box. Being different is okay and the one thing he wishes he could go back to tell his Freshman year self is to not try so hard, be yourself and you’ll find people who will love you just the way you are.
