What’s next for
them?
Ben Lopez
From a basketball jersey to a lab coat, Ben Lopez is on his
way to become a doctor. His recent acceptance into the University of
Arizona is the first boxed checked off to get to his goals. He will
never forget the memories he made, the friends that turned to family,
and his team. One of the biggest takeaways he learned was to give
everything his all and work hard for the things you want. Being lazy
and not trying wont get you anywhere. Ben’s favorite this year was
spending time with his friends because they are all seperating. From
watching Ceasar DJ at Homecoming, to seeing Malia and Hayden
going viral, his high school moments have been a lot of laughs, that
he’s sad to see end. Highschool has made Ben more outgoing,
social, and confident in himself.
Mason Murray
Red Wolf to Aztech to Wildcat, Mason Murray is transferring to
Pima Community College for one year than going to University of
Arizona, all while continuing to play football. High school not only
opened up his love for football, but his love for education, writing,
and journalism, which is what he will be studying in college. High
School has changed himself as a person through his self
confidence. Mason recalls that didn’t even know how to approach
people. It’s helped him. He hopes to one day, possibly become a
journalist or something in writing and English, The person who has
influenced him the most is Mr. Gildea for teaching him to approach
people how you would in your writing. The lessons he’s learned
from him and other high school peers will be unforgettable, as he
makes his way into his new life.
