Trail Shipshewana
On
will host the 7th annual Mayfest Road
& Trail four-mile run as part of its annual Mayfest celebration. A one-mile
non-competitive walk and a one-mile
fun-run for kids ages 13 and under will
also be held in conjunction with the
race. A portion of the proceeds from
this event will be donated to a local
family in need. Participants of all ages
are welcome.
The courses are designed to take
participants past Shipshewana’s most
well-known landmarks and businesses.
The four mile race will also include several different running surfaces including asphalt, grass and trails. Runners
will make their way through a covered
bridge and run along a three fourth
mile stretch of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.
