Unique features of ydp
The Youth Development Program has evolved and changed a lot over the years to become the program that you see today . The YDP Division of the IJGA provides the most diverse selection of event types and unique features compared to any of the other Divisions of the IJGA .
This program is designed for junior golfers ages 8-13 of all skill levels , from those that are new to competitive golf , to those who have been competing from a young age . In addition to encouraging a love for the game , the program provides other added benefits , such as making new friends and developing character through the countless life lessons golf teaches , like sportsmanship and integrity .
Members of this program not only experience the thrills of competition , but also the opportunity to master the rules and etiquette of golf .
