Unique features of ydp

The Youth Development Program has evolved and changed a lot over the years to become the program that you see today. The YDP Division of the IJGA provides the most diverse selection of event types and unique features compared to any of the other Divisions of the IJGA.

This program is designed for junior golfers ages 8-13 of all skill levels, from those that are new to competitive golf, to those who have been competing from a young age. In addition to encouraging a love for the game, the program provides other added benefits, such as making new friends and developing character through the countless life lessons golf teaches, like sportsmanship and integrity.

Members of this program not only experience the thrills of competition, but also the opportunity to master the rules and etiquette of golf.
