SIZZLER CHAMPIONSHIP
This will be the first event of its kind on the YDP schedule. The YDP Sizzler Championship will take place on July 31- August 1 for the 10-11 year olds and July 31- August 2 for the 12-13 year olds at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club.
This event will be hosted on Course 3 and the players can expect to play from the following yardages:
Boys 12-13 – 5,800-6,000 yards 10-11 – 5,000-5,400 yards
Girls 12-13 – 5,000-5,400 yards 10-11- 4,200-4,600 yards
This event is designed to give players experience in multi-day events and the ability to gain national recognition. In the 12-13 year old Division, there will be a cut following the second round, with those making the cut advancing to the final day. The top 15 and ties in the Boys 12- 13 Division and the top 10 and ties in the Girls 12-13 Division will advance to the final day.
The tournament entry fee includes range balls, lunch and a tee gift.
