OBITUARIES Felipa Feliciano
Felipa Feliciano , 94 , of Hammonton , died peacefully on January 4 , 2017 .
Born in Adjuntas , PR , she was a South Jersey resident for more than 60 years . Before retiring , Mrs . Feliciano worked as a seamstress for National Garment Co . in Hammonton for many years . She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and the Hammonton Presbyterian Church . She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family and extended family .
She was predeceased by her husband , Raul Irizarry Feliciano , and her daughter , Gladys Barreto . She is survived by one daughter , Lillian Gonzalez ; one son , Raul Irizarry Jr .; four grandchildren , Amy Santiago - Rios ( Rosmy ), Paul Irizarry , Pedro Gonzalez and Brianna Gonzalez ; six great-grandchildren ; four brothers , Jose Victor Feliciano , Francisco Feliciano , Pedro Feliciano and Vicente Feliciano .
Family and friends attended Funeral Services on Monday , January 9 , 2017 , at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton . Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton .

Jane B . & John H . Hearing
Jane B . ( nee Burger ) Hearing , 93 , of Largo , Fla ., and formerly of Hammonton , died on Friday , January 6 , 2017 . Her loving husband of 67 years , John H . “ Jack ” Hearing , 94 , died on Saturday , January 7 , 2017 .
Jane was very active in her Church Parish Community . She was a lector and Eucharistic Minister . She was a Past President of St . Anthony of Padua ’ s Parish Council , where she received a Volunteer of the Year Award . Jane volunteered for many years at the Parish Bingo games . She was a member of the advisory council to the Camden Diocese and was presented with the Bishop ’ s Award . Jane was a member of the Catholic Daughters , locally and on the state level . She was a volunteer for many years at Wm . B . Kessler Memorial Hospital and was a former member of the Hammonton Woman ’ s Civic Club .
Jack was also very active in his Church Parish Community . He served as lector and greeter at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish . He also volunteered at the Parish Bingo Games . Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus , St . Vincent Pallotti Council 3477 and the Holy Name Society . He was a member of the Hammonton VFW Post 1026 , the Never There Gun Club and was a Board of Director at the Hammonton Swim Club and a U . S . Navy Veteran , who served during World War II .
Jane and Jack are survived by their three daughters and their husbands , Patricia and Warren Backer of Safety Harbor , Fla ., Maureen and Dennis Carey of Upper Darby , Pa ., Colleen and Michael Benedetto of Aurora , Colo .; nine grandchildren ; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews . Jane is also survived by her brother , David “ Ace ” Burger of Venice , Fla . Jack is also survived by his sister , Betty Berenotto and her husband , Frank , of Linwood .
A Mass of Christian Burial for both Jane and Jack will be held on Friday , January 13 , 2017 , 11 a . m ., in St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish Church of St . Anthony of Padua , 285 Route 206 , Hammonton , where a visitation will be held from 10 a . m . until 11 a . m . Burial for both will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , Hammonton .
In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to St . Joseph ’ s High School , 328 Vine St ., Hammonton , NJ 08037 .

Barbara A . Ingemi
Barbara A . ( nee Paltz ) Ingemi , 77 , of Hammonton , affectionately known as “ Miss Barbara ,” died on Thursday , January 5 , 2017 , in Kennedy Hospital in Washington Twp .
Born in Baltimore , Md ., she lived in Yardville before moving back to Hammonton in 1997 . She was a graduate of St . Joseph High School Class of 1958 and St . Francis College Class of 1962 . Barbara was a retired school teacher having taught first and third grades . She began her career in Gibbsboro , then taught in Hamilton Twp . and at Lore Elementary School in Ewing Twp . Barbara was a member and Past President of the Altar Rosary Society of St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish . She could always be found volunteering her time at many Church activities . She also volunteered at the Good Samaritan Center on Wednesday nights .
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 52 years , Drag Ingemi ; her daughter and son-in-law , Annemarie I . and Frank Mazzei of Aberdeen ; her granddaughter , Gianna Marie Mazzei ; her brother , Arthur B . Paltz III and his wife , Jane , of Edison ; her sister , Doris Macchia of Kettering , Ohio ; her sister-in-law , Nancy Garchinsky of Folsom , and her many nieces , nephews , cousins and friends .
Family and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday , January 10 , 2017 , in St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish , Church of St . Joseph ’ s , 226 French St ., Hammonton . Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery .

Vehicle struck from behind

HAMMONTON — A 2004 black Jeep Liberty driven by Savannah DelGuercio , 18 , of Hammonton , struck a 2004 gray Honda Pilot driven by Dario Torres- Reyes , 46 , of Camden , from behind , a report by Hammonton Police Det . Sgt . Edward Slimm said .. The accident occurred at 3:52 p . m . on December 27 at the intersection of Bellevue Avenue ( Route 54 ) and Packard Street , Slimm said .
HAMMONTON — Stockton University ’ s Kramer Hall is proud to participate in the 13th Annual Martin Luther King Jr . Day of Service on Monday , January 16 , 2017 . The instructional site is inviting the community to participate in this one-day volunteer project which will run from 8 a . m . to 2 p . m .
Kramer Hall will host four projects , two stationed at the Hammonton facility located on 30 Front Street . The first project has become a tradition at Kramer Hall for the past several MLK Days of Service . Volunteers will be making Valentine cards for the residents of the local Greenbriar Nursing Center . More than 100 cards are then packed and delivered to the nursing home in February for the residents to enjoy .
The accident occurred on December 27 at 3:52 p . m . at the intersection of Route 54 and Packard Street , the report said . Torres- Reyes was stopped on Route 54 near Packard Street when DelGuercio struck his vehicle , Slimm said .
Slimm said Officer Renzo Mendoza was the investigating officer . No summonses were issued , Slimm said .
In other police news , a woman whose car struck a telephone pole after leaving the roadway said a deer ran in front of her vehicle causing her to run off Pleasant
The second project will be facilitated by professionals from the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University , who together with volunteers will assist with the organization of museum archives . This project will take place on the third floor of Hammonton Town Hall , 100 E . Central Ave . in Hammonton .
The third project will be clerical assistance for Allies In Caring at 425 N . Third St . in Hammonton . The project will consist of helping to input information from paper documents into their database related to clients . Allies In Caring advocates for culturally responsive mental health services for diverse populations . The final project , provided by the Galloway Township Ambulance at the instructional site , will

Mills Road at 9:04 p . m . on December 27 , a report by Slimm said .
A 2009 silver Chevrolet driven by Samantha Dixon , 19 , of Hammonton , ran off the road on Pleasant Mills Road striking a telephone pole , Slimm said in the report . Dixon stated a deer ran in front of her vehicle causing her to run off the road . Both she and her passenger , Daniel Bonanata , 22 , of Hammonton , reported no injuries . Dixon was issued for careless driving , according to Slimm ’ s report . Officer Kyle Ambrozaitis was the investigating officer , Slimm said .
Kramer Hall invites community to participate in MLK Day of Service
allow volunteers to receive CPR , cardiopulmonary resuscitation , training and certification . Stockton will provide volunteers with breakfast and lunch . The day will start with registration , breakfast and a short program . Groups will disperse to their project stations and will regroup for lunch and reflection . Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag # StocktonMLK when posting about the experience on Twitter and Facebook .
The MLK Day of Service activities are also being held at the Galloway main campus and at the university ’ s instructional sites in Manahawkin and Woodbine , with some activities then moving to other sites . Nearly 1,000 volunteers turned out for the 2016 event , and organizers want to break that record with a call to “ Take a Day ON !” Volunteers may choose which activity and location are most convenient for them after checking in at the corresponding Stockton location . They will need to provide their own transportation to sites .
