Reinvent yourself
You don’t have to change your entire look in order to reinvent yourself. But invest time and energy into your
appearance and your hobbies. You may want to focus on breaking a bad habit or taking that spinning class you’ve
always wanted to try. Or, yes, maybe you want to try that new hair color. Whatever it is that you choose, do it
because you want to be a better you, not because you think it will please your partner. They fell for you as you
are. But the more you invest in yourself, the happier you will be as a person and in your relationship. And changing
things up now and then can inject new life into a predictable relationship.
Don’t Keep Your Hands to Yourself
In the beginning of relationships, physical touch is at an all-time high. Your hormones are raging and the result is
usually a lot of hot and heavy action. Keep that alive by making intentional physical contact with your partner. It
doesn’t have to be sex. Take the time to give your partner loving embraces and passionate kisses. Greet him or her
with a kiss and bid them farewell with the same. Something so small can make a huge difference in your
relationship.
Keep flirting
Almost all relationship started with flirting. Your eyes meet. He looks at you, you look away. You toss you hair. He
tells you jokes, you laugh (whether they’re funny or not). This romantic tango just may have been the beginning of
your relationship. Don’t let that be the end of it. Flirt with your partner regularly. When you’re in public, give your
mate longing glances and your best “bedroom eyes”. Stroke his leg with your foot underneath the table. Be funny
and humorous. Of course, everyone loves to be with someone who is fun to be with. There are so many ways to
flirt.
In the end, do your best to keep things exciting and new in your relationship. Don’t get complacent and think that
once you make a commitment that you can slide into monotony. On the contrary, make every effort to make your
mate feel special and desired and you’ll get it back twenty-fold.
