LOVE... 5 Ways to Keep Your Love Burning Hot Experience has taught us that new relationships usually come with some fire. You know, that allconsuming heat that scorches you every time you touch your lover? But this fierce fire can fade away with time. It’s all partner’s desire to keep their passion ignited and the love burning. Feeding the flame is the responsibility of both partners. Below are some tips to keep your relationship hot and heavy. Mind the Ways You Communicate Communication is vital to every relationship. And with the continuing advancement of technology, there are a number of ways in which one can get in touch with one’s partner. This has made communication easier. Or has it? The impersonal aspects of texts and emails can take away from the romance of expression. Some of the ways to woo your partner are: 1. Write a love letter – Few things are more romantic than a handwritten note full of loving words. Not a gifted poet? That’s okay. Just let your partner know that how you feel and the small ways they add joy to your life. Do they give great back rubs? Or does their smile just light up your day? Write it down! Then slip it in their bag before they go to work. 2. Send a Naughty Text – While you’re at work, send your mate a sexy message describing all of the naughty things you’re going to do to them when they get home. This will build anticipation and make the moment you finally connect electric. 3. Post It - Stick a Post-It Note containing a loving message on the refrigerator or on the bathroom mirror. Focus on Quality With work, careers, or even distance, sometimes couples don’t get much time together. Make the time you do have count by focusing on the quality of the time you spend together. Quality time with your partner fans the flame of love’s fire and keeps you both in tune with each other. It’s also a great time for you both to have a lot of fun. Try doing new activities such as rollerblading, tandem biking, or even taking a cook class together. If you’re a homebody, try having an indoor picnic. Set the scene just as you would an outdoor picnic with a basket full of goodies and a cozy blanket to lay on. Light candles and set your iPod to a special playlist full of romantic tunes. 13
