Editorial Back in July 2011, I got his call; a some of an informal interview. He spoke in chaste English with an accent of a native speaker in a candid way. His voice had vitality, a grace and a voice of a man who had landed prosperously on the safe shores after his voyage through a tumultuous sea. That was my first introduction with him. On my joining, here in ELC, I found all enamored of him. He is loving, kind and always there to extend his helping hand to his subordinates. That's administration when you take care of your colleagues they reciprocate and ELC is a success story; covetable for other departments of TU. When he takes care of you why you should be a slacker. Saying of the day. A paragon for the future aspirants. Times tested adage: You don't assert your personality with a bossy air rather the aura of your personality is your worth, your intelligence and your love for human kinds. I am talking, rightly guessed, about Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman AlAsmari. He is now our Vice President of Academic Affairs which he earned with all his talent and he is well deserved to be on the highest ladder of the hierarchy of TU. And now about the new issue. The desk put all its efforts to have an attractive outlook though lacking the professional skill of the layout; needed for magazines. This time, we tried to bring out the helpful material for the novices to brace them with the strategies of teaching English as Foreign Language. Our erudite colleagues were helpful to contribute their scholarly scribes to this new issue of The Fiat Pointer. The desk owes them a bow. Thank you, respected colleagues! All the very best!
