Events DRIFFIELD SHOW Crowd favourites to perform in Beverley Building Society activity arena »»Crowd favourites, Phil Gibbons and his Ridgeside Lurchers will be performing in the Beverley Building Society sponsored Activity Arena at this year’s Driffield Show. Cheryl Lynch, Society Manager at the Showground said: “Graham Carter and his team at the Beverley Building Society have been sponsors of the Activity Arena for a number of years now. In fact, it is due to their continued and much appreciated support that we have been able to ensure the Activity Arena continues to offer an action-packed timetable throughout Show day - incorporating something of interest for every member of the family.” SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE Back in the Beverley Building Society Activity Arena by popular demand, the Ridgeside Lurchers invite visitors to the Show to experience the full speed hunting abilities of the lurcher. Once in the Arena the lurchers will race at full speed, chasing 24 Jun/Jul 2015 www.farmers-mart.co.uk the electric lure in a speedy performance coupled with Phil’s informative, humourous commentary. The public will also have plenty of opportunities to get involved and have the chance to win one of the coveted Beverley Building Society Show rosettes.
