delightfully chirpy Herbert a
few months ago she certainly
has her hands full!
Ben is keeping the cattle
sheds which are excellent and
land at Woodhouse for a further
5 years
The cattle are moved
up there for fattening and
finishing. Across the two farms
now Ben and Tori have 500
acres, 300 for rape and wheat
for both feed and cash flow
which and 200 acres of grass
meadows for the livestock to
roam across the Melbourne
and Langley Priory Estate.
Contractors AW Gilby of
Dishley work with Ben during
the year.
They have a herd of
Longhorns sucklers and
followers which they plan to
be a high health herd so they
can become self-sufficient and
buy in as little as possible land
also flocks of Jacob, Portland
and Texel sheep. Longhorns
are renowned for their docile,
carefree attitude, making them
a pleasure to handle and look
after. Tori loves to show her
Jacobs, and she has some
fine pedigrees and already
some impressive rosettes. The
Portlands are located outside
