TO ensure ample social distancing space and in an effort to work towards welcoming 10,000 visitors per day instead of the usual 25,000 + visitors in one day , the Show will still start on Wednesday , 21st July and will continue on Thursday , 22nd July .
Driffield Show organisers are keen to reassure all exhibitors and visitors that the safety of everyone on the Showground is of paramount importance to them and that they will stringently follow all government regulations and guidelines to achieve this . Once inside the Show visitors will notice many safety measures taking place such as wider avenues , more opportunities to view sections from an outside space , one-way systems in place and of course , gallons of hand sanitisers being available at the sanitising stations that will be dotted around the Showground . This year may be a very different Show , but Show Organisers have every intention of making sure it is a great event and a fantastic opportunity for people to get out , see the stands , see each other , and begin to move forward .
Celebrating its 145th year the Show will once again combine its winning formula of celebrating the areas agricultural heritage whilst also taking the time to

embrace new developments and despite changes having to be made as part of the Show ’ s covid response , visitors will not be disappointed with the vast range of activities , displays , educational content and demonstrations available , designed to suit everyone regardless of age or interests . Show organisers are proud that it is the Show that has ‘ something for everyone ’ and there will be plenty of opportunities for those enjoying a spot of retail therapy , with over 450 trade stands to choose from , ranging from lifestyle and fashion to crafts and local produce . All entertainment , livestock and equine classes will be split across the two days so do not worry whichever day you chose to visit the Show you will not miss out on anything .
There will be a return of the crowds favourite Heavy Horse classes sponsored by Smailes Goldie Group and the entire equine community will also be well represented throughout both days of the Show with a packed Woolley & Parks Main Ring timetable ranging from the Local Ridden Ponies to the Show Jumping Classes . Another crowd favourite the Dog Show , organised by and in aid of Ryedale Dog Rescue , will also be running over both days with such a wide range of fun classes on offer

there is bound to be one just right for your best friend .
As well as the wealth of equine expertise that visitors have come to associate with the Driffield Show the Woolley & Parks Main Ring will also feature entertainment from the amazing Bolddog Lings Motocross Display Team who will be thrilling visitors with their death defying stunts . As well as Main Ring events the Great Driffield Radio Activity Arena will also boast a packed timetable , this year there will be appearances from The Yorkshire Hoopers dog display team , breath taking stunts from Dangerous Steve , and feats of strength from the Mighty Smith plus flying demonstrations from the Owl Adventures display team , plus more still to be confirmed .
