Rix Petroleum are proud to announce that it will be back supporting this year ’ s Driffield Show which takes place on the 21 / 22th July
RIX Petroleum had attended for 72 consecutive years , only to be stopped last year by the Covid outbreak . Rix are delighted to announce that they will be attending this year ’ s Driffield Show . Rix Petroleum is one of the oldest remaining family-owned , independent fuel delivery companies in Yorkshire . It distributes and retails heating oil , gas oil , diesel , tanks and heating services to the farming and rural communities of Yorkshire .
Rix signs a new five-year deal to continue to be the main sponsor of the “ Rix Pavilion ”
Back in 2014 the Driffield Agricultural Society agreed to build a new pavilion at the showground and at that time Rix Petroleum was delighted to become the main sponsor . This fantastic new building was opened to the public on 25th February 2015 . After the cancellation of the Driffield show in 2020 we thought the best way to continue to help was to extend our sponsorship of the Rix Pavilion for a further five years . “ We ’ ve been serving the Driffield and East Yorkshire area for over 100 years … and we are so pleased to be extending our sponsorship of the Rix Pavilion ” Duncan Lambert , Managing Director .
Rix will be back with a bang “ When we found out that show was going ahead , I felt that as a company we must continue to support by bringing a brand-new stand to the show ” Duncan Lambert The team at Rix have therefore been busy preparing a brandnew stand and layout for the show . The theme of this years ’ stand is “ Rix World ”. Come on a journey and see the services that the J . R . Rix group provide to the local farming community . Our team would love to speak with you so come along to the stand and enjoy a free cup of tea / coffee and a biscuit .

Due to the current Covid guidance , the show is now going to be run over two days rather than one . This is to ensure that all visitors and staff are protected from the risk of spreading the virus .
