Snap Fitness

Summerside

This gym surpassed my expectations, especially given the variety of equipment that it had. I’d always heard from friends that Snap gyms generally don’t have much in them, but this one seemed to have all the basics, and then some. It was also really clean, and the layout was really interesting.

Cost- Their drop-in cost is $15, but you can get started with a one week free trial for free, or a one month trial for around $20.

Their memberships also seem pretty reasonable, but those vary more based

on length of term and other factors.

Cleanliness- Very clean! The first time I was in there, one of the employees was wiping down ALL parts of every piece of equipment. I’m assuming this is done routinely because this place is absolutely spotless.

Dominant lifting style- A little bit of everything! The only thing you wouldn’t really be able to do here is sprints. But aside from that, powerlifting, Oly, bodybuilding, cardio, and functional fitness can all be done here pretty easily.

Personal training- They offer it! Inquire within.

WiFi- They have Shaw Open and had login information posted around the gym as well.

Parking- Parking was a bit more cramped in the evening due to some restaurants in the same business area, but you should still be able to find a stall. There is also a back door entry with additional parking in the rear.
