INTERVIEW
How have your journeys helped
you stay positive?
Definitely yes… A BIG YES! There
are several moments that add on
to my try of positively organizing
myself,
but
organizing
the
moments is itself a challenging
task. Still, firstly I would start with
the sense of liveliness owing to the
bodily functions of breathing and
sweating, feeling pain and comfort
along with my mind wandering and
filling me with a long lost sense of
childish amazement. This is when I
forgetfully of myself totally delve
into the present and gain my
subconscious entry into the flow
state of mind and therefore
certainly after every single time I
come out of this state it is always
into a new sense of a more
confident, intelligent, stronger and
a smarter being. This sense of
quench of need for capability that
is obviously deep rooted to the
reasons I was depressed for makes
THE DREAM BOX
the outcome of every ride a
marvellous one. Secondly, another
action lets you forget yourself, the
act of you empathising about
someone other than yourself.
While one travels, one meets a lot
of people and sees the functioning
of the world close-by, and with
close-by I meant similar things that
we watch in movies, read in books
or see on Facebook, Instagram or
YouTube, but now with an amazing
close proximity with the standards
of truth. Noticing how people and
things work like.
Which was the best trip on your
cycle?
The best trip that we (I and a friend
of mine, Ashis) had till date was the
Bangalore to Goa trip. It was
around 650kms that we covered in
a total of 9 days. It wasn’t a
challenge sort of feat that had to
be accomplished but days simply
and purely meant for travelling.
