Getting good quality sleep enhances mental and physical health, improves mood, and increases immune function. It also plays a crucial role in memory performance and overall well-being.
Physical Health Benefits include:
Immune system strengthening, which helps fight infections and illnesses.
Weight Management by regulating metabolism and aiding in maintaining a healthy weight.
Heart Health by regulating blood pressure, heart rate, and cholesterol levels contributing to better cardiovascular health.
Sleeping at night is generally considered better than sleeping during the day due to the body’ s natural sleep-wake cycle. Consistently sleeping at night allows the body to better regulate its internal clock. This can have a positive effective on the body’ s overall health and well-being. 20 – 30-minute naps assist as well with energy and alertness.
Remember, Sleep is necessary and not an option for a healthy lifestyle.
