Let Go of the

What are you holding onto that you need to let go of? What are you avoiding? The spaces you inhibit can at times be cluttered with so much stuff and so does your mind. Decluttering your spaces is Self-Care.
We tend to have and buy lots of unnecessary items. But there are those things which are acquired from a loss and are kept because of the memories. However, there’ s also the constant advertising of stuff we’ re being told we have to purchase and need. The visual noise in your spaces is sometimes so loud it’ s hard to function and is often overwhelming and stressful.
Walk into your space and look around, what do you see? Having a cluttered environment is a health and safety hazard. The more things you possess, the more you have to clean and manage. Purging those belongings you’ re attached to can be challenge and also a daunting task. But, imagine how you will feel once you let the stuff go.
To reduce the clutter and reclaim your freedom, here are some tips help to you begin the process of release.
1. Before making any purchase, ask yourself, do I need this? And what value does this add to my life?
2. Make a plan, set aside some time and start small; in one area and section of a room so the task is manageable.
3. Separate items into categories: Keep, Donate, Sell and Trash. Throw away old, broken, or expired items.
4. Discard old magazines, mail and papers. If personal information is present, shred.
5. Ask for help, if needed.
Clutter your steals time, energy, peace of mind, costs you money and your health. Letting go of excess brings a sense of clarity, a fresh start. Take a deep breath, inhale and exhale. It’ s ok to PURGE the STUFF that no longer serves your purpose. 26
