Focus and Remember Your Why
feel like we need to do it all and do it all right now.
No matter how grounded we are. No matter how Spirit-filled we are, we ALL get to a place of ministry burnout that makes us seriously consider walking away.
However, let me offer you two powerful nuggets to help you manage your hat shop more effectively.
Nugget One- Take at least one day a week to shut down all external distractions, i. e., social media, cell phones, e-mails, tv, running errands, and so on. Find a quiet place and study your Word. God speaks through His Word and what better way to hear Him.
Nugget Two- If your health permits, fast. You can do a complete fast or a partial. But fast and pray. Prepare your heart to receive whatever the Holy Spirit reveals to you. Draw near to God to receive fresh oil.
Both of these tools will help you to focus and remember your why.
